VALLCARCA

The Vallcarca quarry exploits a carbonate rock deposit within the Garraf massif. It is a modern and safe installation both with the environment that surrounds it and with its workers. All conveyor belts are covered and the screening and crushing areas are closed to prevent the emission of dust into the environment. All this, combined with a wet dust collection system in the primary and dust collectors in the secondary, make Vallcarca an environmentally friendly treatment facility.

The products obtained are mainly intended for the manufacture of concrete, mortar and precast. Given the large production capacity and the great flexibility of the installation, a large part of the material that makes up both the port of Barcelona and the airport come from the Vallcarca factory.
